How Electric Motors Work

If the wire is placed in a magnetic field, the magnetic field of the wire will interact with the external magnetic field to create a force. This force will cause the wire to move.
In an electric motor, the wire windings are arranged in a stator, which is the stationary part of the motor. The external magnetic field is created by a rotating magnet, which is called the rotor. The interaction between the magnetic field of the rotor and the magnetic field of the stator creates a force that causes the rotor to rotate.
The speed of rotation of the rotor is determined by the amount of current flowing through the stator windings and the strength of the external magnetic field. The amount of current flowing through the stator windings can be controlled by a variable speed controller.

Sensitive to voltage fluctuations: Electric motors are sensitive to voltage fluctuations, which can cause them to operate at less than optimal efficiency or even fail.
Noise pollution: Electric motors can be noisy, which can be a problem in some applications.
